To all of my wonderful readers,

I wanted to take a moment to give you an update — and an apology.

Unfortunately, the release of Nothing Haunts Like a Heart is going to be postponed a little longer than I originally planned. I know many of you have been waiting very patiently for this story, and I truly hate having to delay it.

Part of the delay comes down to timing with the cover design process. My cover designer needed a bit more time to create something worthy of this book, and I never want to rush a cover that represents the heart and atmosphere of a story so important to me. On top of that, the book itself is taking a little longer to finish than my usual projects. Some stories simply demand more care, more emotional depth, and more time on the page — and this one has definitely become one of those books.

As frustrating as delays can be, I promise this extra time is being spent making the story the absolute best it can be for all of you. I never want to release something before it’s truly ready.

Thank you for your patience, your kindness, your excitement, and your continued support. Independent authors survive because of readers like you, and I’m endlessly grateful for every preorder, message, comment, and bit of encouragement you send my way.

The good news is that Nothing Haunts Like a Heart is still available for preorder, and your support means more than you know:

I promise I’ll share updates as soon as I have a finalized release date. Until then, thank you for sticking with me through the chaos, the delays, and the passion projects that sometimes take on a life of their own.

With love,
Olive Spencer
